About
Your Name in Soap™
About
the Your Name in Soap™ program.
The
soap program is a natural addition to our chocolate name mold program
which takes advantage of the expensive mold components used to produce
both series of molds. We use a non food certified grade white HIPS plastic
to make all of our soap molds from so they can easily be kept separate
from the food grade molds which use clear PETG plastic for food contact
safety. The White HIPS plastic is also quite a bit thicker and tougher
to handle the ingredients of Melt and Pour soaps that people use to
cast their own bars with. It is more expensive and takes much longer
to heat and form than the PETG material, but is worth the difference
for soap making molds.
The
original owner and inventor spent a great deal of time over several
years to perfect the custom mold making process used to make custom
molds and recently started to use the same process to start building
the Your Name in Soap and Chocolates programs with. We plan to diversify
as much as possible using these mold components to make molds and products
for our customers at an affordable price.
